Beautiful Private Label Pocket Watch 21J. Signed J. Q. Hatch & Co. No 1047. 21 J. Specially adjusted for J. Q. Hatch Co.

Painted Underhorn Verge, Peter Wirgman, London, No 1563
This is a lovely watch, the cases close correctly and the design on the case is exquisite. The movement is signed Peter Wirgman, London, 1563. Looking at the dates he was working, this watch dates from the mid-18th century. I have found it online here A George III pair cased pocket watch on stand, the outer case decorated with a figure of a gardener, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the movement with verge escapement, signed Peter Wirgman, London and numbered 1563, on a rosewood and inlaid stand (chorleys.com). The stand and key are no longer with it. The only flaw is that the hole for the winding arbor has been enlarged – not by me! (SEE PICTURES). Price for this very nice painted underhorn verge is £500 (contact rcorfield863@gmail.com).
Exquisite Half Hunter Silver Pocket Watch Samuel Yeomans. Chester
Exquisite Half Hunter Silver Pocket Watch Samuel Yeomans. Chester. Normally I hesitate to use the word mint, since to me that means it has its original box and papers. This watch has neither. On the other hand this watch has NO FLAWS (apart from some very minor surface scratches). This watch is hallmarked Chester 1898 and was made by Samuel Yeomans.
I cannot over emphasise how beautiful this watch is.
Price ££250 (contact rcorfield863@gmail.com)
Waltham Vanguard 16s with up/down wind indicator
Waltham Vanguard 23J 16s w/ up/down wind indicator. Case has very shallow dent on reverse. Dial has a couple of small hairlines at 1 o’clock position (very minor). Groove on inner surface of watch back not visible on outside of case. This said, the watch is in very good condition.
See pictures to assure yourself it is a quality watch.
Price £ 550 (contact rcorfield863@gmail.com}
Excellent Condition Verge Pocket Watch Ja Burton Whitehaven w Silver Chain & fob
Excellent Condition Verge Pocket Watch Ja Burton Whitehaven with Silver Chain. Case marked WR. Date letter is a q in a shield. This dates to 1814 , which is earlier than I thought but as you can see from the photo the mark is quite clear. All hallmarks match on both cases. Anchor mark is Birmingham. The watch has a diamond end stone which makes it particularly nice.

WALTHAM VANGUARD WIND INDICATOR 23 JEWELS 16 SIZE. Overall excellent condition except for a dial chip on the edge at 4 o’clock. Not visible when bezel is on. Otherwise absolutely lovely condition (see photos which form part of the description). Case is excellent. Movement is excellent. The waltham serial number book lists this as a GCT. This is an error.
